Using an Enterprise Data Model to drive Product Master Data Management (MDM).

Banking “products” are hard to define as they are intangible, unlike cars or fridges. Wholesale markets make defining products even more challenging!
Wholesale Banking has over 600 products with their own different Product Codes.  It is not clear how these products differ, where they are used or how they are reported on.
To better understand, classify and improve our Product data, we are using our Enterprise Data Model (EDM).
This presentation provides:
•     Practical steps in initiating a Product MDM programme
•     Making an EDM accessible and relevant to the Business
•     Tips for success
